From Roots to Wings

Founded in 2011, New Delhi’s Must Art Gallery holds a vast collection specialising in Gond art. The gallery was founded by Tulika Kedia , an art collector herself.  Her background and passion particularly for Gond art led to the opening of Must Art.

Must Art has provided a platform for artists that they must deserved to promote their outstanding artworks.  The stability and support of the gallery has given Gond artists a shelter for their pieces free of economic and social pressures. This social principle has enabled artists to pursue their creativity and also keep their traditions rather than confining to business aesthetics.

Despite beginning with solely Gond art, over time the gallery has branched out into further areas of Indian artwork. Through this development the gallery has also introduced Gallerieak, which showcases these other traditional styles such as Jogi , Khalighat  , Madhubani , Warli, as well as contemporary and modern pieces.

As India continues to develop into a modern era Must Art and Gallerieak are committed to preserving the ways of life and traditions of communities across the country through the power of art.
